Has anybody out there in OppoLand been successful at removing the AdChoices pop-up? I have Ghostery running and there’s nothing in
Programs and Features
and no AdChoices keys in the Registry. Thoughts?

I have no idea what adchoices is so I’m going to say yes.
I’m just using chrome with ublock origin.

I’m not even running an ad blocker on this computer and I have no idea what you are talking about. No pop-ups here. You might want to run a malware check on your machine, seems more likely to be something injected (I think AdChoices is respectable enough as far as ad companies go, but someone could still be using their software to maliciously serve you ads).
Are you seeing these on Oppo, or just in general?

I agree with Agrajag. I have no idea what adchoices is. I’m also using the same stuff he’s using

Haven’t had any on Edge on my Surface Pro 3 and Winbook TW802. However, for the last week the Gawker sites I frequent have been acting weird when viewed on my Lumias and Fierce XL, also running Edge. That said, I discovered that simply refreshing the page after about 30-45 seconds, after the refresh it acts fine.

I use adblocks “block an ad on this page” to get rid of all ads and other things I don’t like on this site.
